Presented by Kverneland Group Ireland, the 2018 Future of Farming Expo is set to take place at The Hub, Cillin Hill, Kilkenny on the 15th of February.
All the latest up to date products and technology from the Kverneland, Vicon, Siloking and McConnel brands will be on show.
This event represents a golden opportunity for customers to get up close to touch and feel all that Kverneland machinery offers all under the one roof.
Tillage Equipment
The New Turbo cultivator will be launched to the Irish market, this new cultivator can be used all year round, for seedbed preparation as well as deeper cultivation up to 20cm. Also on display will be the award winning i-plough which now comes with the option of a frame mounted wheel. The recently launched e drill compact and u drill will complement the TS drill along with the more familiar machines well known to all of a selection of plough and cultivator ranges.
Grass Equipment
The New 53100 triple mower with GEOMOW functionality will be the highlight alongside the complete Taarup Range of Mower Conditioners and plain mowers. After a very successful demo season the new FastBale is now available to the market and comes with added features such as film on film binding. Along with the range of Kverneland Rakes and Tedders, the recently launched 864 straw chopper and Siloking Compact 100+ tub feeder will be on show.
Crop Care
The crop care business will be represented by a full range of fertiliser spreader & sprayers. Of interest will be the New Vicon ROM GEOSPREAD spreader which offers a farmer sized machine with all the functionality of the GEOSPREAD system that allows for big savings in fertiliser usage. To complement the spreaders, sprayers from the newly launched iXter A and popular iXter B mounted ranges will be on show alongside the iXtrack trailed sprayer range.
Latest IM Farming Precision Farming Technology:
The Kverneland and Vicon brands will have their latest innovative IM Farming technology with the Tellus Go screen on display along with the well-known IsoMatch Tellus. These products represent Kverneland Groups latest Smart Farming solutions. Technical people from Kverneland IM Farming section will be present during the event, with a separate area devoted to these developments.
McConnel Ireland:
The event sees the New McConnel Agribuggy Self Propelled sprayer making just its 2nd appearance to the Irish public. To complement the tillage sector the McConnel range of arable rollers and equipment will be also on display. The ever popular range of McConnel hedgecutters including the new 75 series machine will be on view alongside the Variable Forward Reach machines.
Technical personnel from the factories will be in attendance as will the product managers from Kverneland Group Ireland, John Mulhall, Paraic McCarthy & Leonard Hovenden. John Colgan, Demonstrator and Michael Meally from the Service Department will assist with technical advice on machine set up as well as after sales service tips.
